Public Policy and Administration Program
The Landscape Architecture Program is an undergraduate accredited program, with origins dating back to 1865 when landscape gardening (a design course) was a required course for students. The term, landscape architecture was first used at Michigan State University in 1898, as a degree option in the Department of Horticulture. Today the Landscape Architecture Program is affiliated with the Department of Geography, College of Social Science at Michigan State University.
