Communication
Communication courses seek to enhance students' knowledge and skills in the areas of interpersonal and small group communication, presentations, decision-making, information utilization, and video production.
Computer Science
The major in computer science leading to the Bachelor of Science degree prepares students for professional careers and for graduate study, with options for the Computer Science General Program or Computer Information Systems.
Information and Library Science
Prepares students for leadership positions in library-information and instructional technology related fields. At the undergraduate level, a Bachelor of Science degree program in library-information service is offered.
Journalism
Provides the option of studying for the B.A. or the B.S. degree. Both major programs offer the broad liberal arts background necessary for careers in the media and in allied fields, such as business and public service, and for further study in law or graduate school.
School of Communication, Information and Library Science
Bachelor of Science degree programs in computer science, communication, journalism and library information service. Bachelor of Arts degree programs in communication and journalism.
Technology Pathway Program
Provides a direct entry into the School of Technology at Central Connecticut State University without loss of credit or the need to repeat coursework.
